Easy Installation To install drill a 1 3/8 hole where you want the button to be, drop the button into the hole and thread the lock nut up to the underside of the countertop securing it in place. The power controller simply needs to be plugged into a UL approved three-prong outlet. Then connect the included air tubing from the button to the power controller. Now you can plug your garbage disposal in the power controller and you are done, the controller can accept any disposal rated up to 1 horsepower. If needed there is a second outlet on the power controller that allows for a hot water dispenser, dishwasher, or any other device to be plugged in. The second outlet is always on and working, however when the air button is pushed, it will turn off that plug ensuring that both aren't on at the same time overloading the circuit.
