Description

The Y-strap is used in conjunction with load stabilizers to dial in the carry of your Sassafras.

This removable strap connects to the shoulder straps where they attach to the pack and connects to the center compression strap (forming a Y shape) to secure the upper portion of the pack. Though load stabilizers are not required, using them with larger loads can improve the way the weight carries on your back.

For small loads, you may be best off forgoing the y-strap completely in which case you just clip the center compression strap directly to the haul loop.

A y-strap is included with your Sassafras. These are available as replacements, and we may offer other styles in the future.
